Paz Waterfall Gardens is located one hour from San Jose and just 20 minutes from the Poás Volcano. At Waterfall Gardens you will find all that you expect to experience in Costa Rica: lush Rainforests, majestic waterfalls, fluttering butterflies and whimsical hummingbirds.
With over 3.5 kilometers of walking trails, we recommend a minimum of 1 1/2 hours reserved for your stay. However, if you would like to see every trail and thoroughly enjoy the time spent in the Butterfly Observatory, Hummingbird Gardens and our new bird watching areas, you will probably want to stay the whole day.
Waterfall Gardens is a primarily a self-guided tour allowing our visitors to proceed directly to their areas of interest. If you would rather have a guide for your group, we can offer one for an additional charge with an advance reservation.
